Our Story

KUDI is an anonymous fund that exists in loving memory of a very special mother whose life was defined by generosity. Long before we understood the weight of kindness, she taught us a simple habit that stayed with us: always set something aside from what you have to help someone who has less. Even when resources were modest, she believed there was always room to share. As teenagers, we were encouraged to keep a small portion of our own money specifically to help others. It was never framed as charity, but simply as something we were responsible for doing. With that small fund, we would contribute to things like JAMB registration fees for students who could not afford to take their exams, helping with school tuition for families struggling to keep their children in school, supporting orphanages, or buying groceries for households going through difficult times. These moments shaped how we see generosity: not as grand gestures, but as practical support given when it matters most.KUDI carries that lesson forward. Today, the fund provides small, one-time emergency support to individuals facing urgent hardship. The help may be modest, but it is given with the same spirit we were raised with: quiet generosity, dignity, and care for others during difficult moments. This initiative honors a legacy of kindness and keeps alive a belief she lived by every day: that even small acts of giving can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
